Precision work

Highcare Cleanrooms recently delivered an advanced, modular-built cleanroom for Kusters Goumans-a renowned specialist in precision mechanical parts and lead components. This collaboration enables Kusters Goumans to perform manufacturing, cleaning and assembly of high-performance parts under ultraclean conditions-essential for sectors such as semiconductors, aerospace, medical device manufacturing and optics.

Kusters Goumans produces extremely precise and demanding components-sometimes on the order of nanometers-for leading customers such as ASML and Airbus; even parts for electron microscopes are included. This requires an extremely clean production environment: even minimal contaminants can seriously disrupt results or research. In addition, the organization encountered practical challenges such as limited power capacity, which complicated installation of an original clean room location.

Nieuwsuur recently made an interesting item about Kuster Gloumans. Watch the report (from 15.55) on NPO Start.

Modular box-in-box cleanroom

  • Modular, industrial prefabricated design: Highcare realized a plug-and-play box-in-box cleanroom designed for minimal construction impact and maximum flexibility.

  • Ultimate air quality with flush design: Clean air is blown in through the ceiling and contaminated air is exhausted through baseboards and hollow walls – a design that enables optimal air regulation.

  • Remountable & future-proof: Highcare’s IFD system makes the cleanroom demountable and relocatable, making modifications or relocation easy without new permits.

  • Fast construction and reliable planning: Thanks to industrial prefabrication, construction time stayed within 3 months; Highcare anticipated potential utility delays in the plan.
