MESOLINE microchannel particle deposition in a Highcare Cleanroom in Rotterdam offers an entirely new way to create microstructures using nanoparticles.
Founding
MESOLINE was founded in 2017 as a spin-off of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Our mission is to become the world leader in MPD technology that enables this
next-generation semiconductor devices.
Horizon
Mesoline is recognized as a top innovator and received a grant from the European Commission (Horizon 2020). We are very proud that they use a Highcare Cleanroom.
CIT
MESOLINE a new spin-out from the California Institute of Technology. Services range from R&D projects to volume production, all based on the unique MPD technology developed in-house.
Technology
Mesoline’s Microchannel Particle Deposition (MPD) technology represents an entirely new semiconductor manufacturing process that can fabricate high-precision 3D microstructures using nanoparticles. Using microfluidics, their machines can build wafer-scale microstructures within minutes with unprecedented accuracy. They offer customers a unique platform combining tooling and years of MPD expertise. This allows customers to create new devices with nanoparticle-based functional elements and metal layers
Production
Together with the customer, the newly developed product incorporating the MPD process is put into production. Their production capacity in Rotterdam is currently about 20,000 wafers per year.
