Cleanroom sliding doors are an ideal solution for a dust-free environment. A traditional swing door is less suitable; it swings across the floor while opening and spreads a lot of dust. In a HIGHCARE, the door wings are transparent and consist of safety glass.
Flat and tight
Why do we choose a rapid roll door in cleanrooms, because it moves flat and tightly along a straight line and close to the wall and closes without moving much dust. An ideal method for separating spaces.
Interlock
In cleanrooms, we use interlock systems for lock operation between spaces. A sliding door fits ideally into an interlock system where the opening or closing of a door is determined by an electronic switching system that controls both the pressure hierarchy and lock operation between spaces.
Remote
Cleanroom sliding doors are remote controlled. In a HIGHCARE, operators open sliding doors without touching them. With a simple movement, doors can be opened and closed. In the unlikely event that there is an obstacle in the doorway, the door will not close.
Led strip in doorway
Optionally, the door opening can be equipped with an LED strip that looks over the full height to see if an obstacle restricts the closing of the sliding door.
Emergency and what now
In a cleanroom, the locking system is usually used to prevent doors from opening uncontrollably and causing contamination. In the event of an emergency, the doors are easily pushed open by hand.
Power outage
Power failure need not be a problem, the doors can be equipped with a battery pack and continue to function normally.
