Cleanrooms Eindhoven. At the Hurksestraat and Achtseweg Noord are cleanrooms of HIGHCARE. Metal low dust rooms in the classification ISO 6 and 7. Extremely clean work units where renowned Eindhoven manufacturers assemble their precision parts for: aerospace, semicon, such as ASML, NXP. In one of the ISO7 units, ASML’s newest UV machine is disassembled.

Mezzanine and box in box

All cleanrooms are constructed under a mezzanine floor. According to HIGHCARE’s cleanroom concept, the low dust units are supplied in combination with this mezzanine floor and placed in an industrial hall. An independent system according to the box-in-box principle. At the cleanroom Eindhoven ISO6, the technical air systems are on top of these mezzanines.

Heating and or polluting equipment

In these high-quality low-dust areas, all contaminating equipment is located outside the clean room. The supply and return lines to the equipment in the cleanroom are as short as possible and run in a straight line directly through the metal ceiling or into the cavity in the hollow metal walls. In the design phase, the parts that are difficult to clean are already placed outside the clean room.

Flat and tight

The walls and ceilings are flat and tight and composed of inert materials that are easy to keep clean. Built according to the IFD system.

Aeronautics

The air technology in the clean room in Eindhoven consists of a vertical air flow. Large quantities of filtered air are brought into the room draught-free via the ceiling using air socks and extracted via return grilles at plinth level. The room is flushed clean with air and thus a high classification is achieved.

IFD technique

The cleanroom Eindhoven consists of modular wall and ceiling elements that are interchangeable. In decleanrooms Eindhoven ISO6, this system was specially chosen because of its modular construction. This industrially produced system is assembled on site. The design complies with the IFD system. It is demountable, even after years of use, but the wall and ceiling segments can be rearranged if necessary.
