A HIGHCARE ceiling is flat and sleek and designed specifically for cleanrooms. The space above the metal ceiling is accessible. The synergy between the metal walls and ceiling enhances the properties of the system. The plenum is used for pipes and air ducts. This keeps the space free of pipes.
What is special about a clean room ceiling
– flat and tight system- the air technology; complete flushing with air from the ceiling and return via the plinths- spaces can be cleaned quickly and reliably- solid metal system- long economic life- all pipes are located above the ceilings and in the hollow walls- walls and ceilings are easily accessible- damages can be replaced quickly and inexpensively- modular system- with this modular system, spaces can be easily enlarged- the lighting plan can be moved or easily expanded- fire-safe materials, no smoke as with PUR, PIR or PS- synergy between walls, ceilings and technical installations- in-house production and engineering- turnkey delivery- flexible, even ten years after completion.
Walkable?
Fine dust in a cleanroom is microscopic and invisible to the naked eye. To prevent a rain of dust particles coming loose, the ceiling must not be walkable. The empty space above the ceiling – plenum – is used for the passage of pipes and air ducts. It should be easily accessible. The HIGHCARE ceiling system consists of metal panels and is flat and tight with a support profile every 1800 mm. The roof tile structure between the ceiling tiles themselves and the C-bearers, is airtight.
Flexible work environment
A modern cleanroom is a flexible work environment where technology is moved or added with some regularity. Empty spaces between walls and above ceilings are therefore accessible. A HIGHCARE ceiling is accessible from the clean room and the floor.
Synergy
In recent years, the technology has been continuously improved. The synergy between walls, ceilings and air handling system is the basis for the high technical level. HIGHCARE has been building clean rooms for more than twenty-five years. They are compact, sterile spaces, efficiently laid out and with plenty of glass. A safe and pleasant working environment is the starting point. Without flammable products such as – PIR, PUR or PS – and the right coating on the metal panels, is the material inert and how aggressively will be cleaned later?

Accessibility of ceilings
The ceilings of a HIGHCARE are not walkable. That’s for a reason. Walking across a ceiling causes large amounts of particulate matter. The ideal solution to still keep the ceiling accessible is a free hanging ceiling system mounted under a false floor. For this purpose, HIGHCARE has developed an air-locked ceiling system that remains accessible at all times. Both from the clean room and through the intermediate floor. Like all other building elements, the ceiling is remountable.

Sustainable
The ceiling panels can easily be moved or reused if a different layout is desired. For example, the lighting fixtures if a machine is moved or added. Expansion of a HIGHCARE cleanroom is easy to realize. Whether dividing or changing the layout, HIGHCARE’s products offer optimal flexibility and durability. In addition, a HIGHCARE cleanroom is moveable. This is thanks to the revolutionary IFD construction technology.
