Cleanroom robotization, automation of high-quality processes is taking place in many cleanrooms; the proportion of robotized processes in dust-free rooms is growing steadily. Often, humans are the biggest cause of contamination within the cleanroom. By automating processes, production is more reproducible, less vulnerable and it reduces costs of wear, maintenance and cleaning.

REPETITIVE AND ROBOTS

Robots are good at repetitive processes. Mostly boring and precise work, such as manufacturing, packaging, sorting or checking. People with artistic, social and scientific professions have the least to fear that robots will take their jobs.
People with administrative and lower service functions are especially at risk of their jobs disappearing due to automation. These include tomato pickers, mail sorters, accounting clerks as well as salespeople and clean room personnel.

AUTOMATION AND ROBOTIZATION

Economists disagree that further automation will lead to higher unemployment, but new jobs may be created in such processes. However, robotization and automation will, on balance, eliminate jobs in the coming years.

AUTOMATION OVER THE NEXT 10 TO 20 YEARS

Oxford University research on the American labor market has been translated by Deloitte to the Dutch situation. Cleanroom and robotization; Oxford University looked at the extent to which 702 different occupations can be automated. Experts in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics indicated for each occupation whether that probability is low, medium or high.
The researchers state that the occupations that score high are likely to be fully automated in the next 10 to 20 years. Cleanroom and robotization, NedCar in Born is a prime example. With more than a thousand robots, NedCar VDL Group appears to be a very competitive company.
