Kendy Pharma is a leading company with years of experience in the development, production and marketing of nutritional supplements. Since its founding in 1992, Kendy has had state-of-the-art technical and laboratory equipment.

Important Milestones in Our History

• 1992: Kendy Ltd begins as a manufacturer and distributor of instant drinks. The Step brand is introduced.
• 1996: Expansion of production capacity with a new line of effervescent tablets. Entry into the OTC market.
• 2000: Establishment of subsidiary Lactina Ltd – a biotechnological plant for the development and production of probiotic strains, the largest in the Balkan region.
• 2006: Opening of a second plant near Bankya for OTC products, effervescent tablets, hard tablets, capsules and other tablet forms.
• 2010: Renovation of the Bankya plant with equipment replacement and laboratory redesign.

Production

Kendy Ltd’s main production facilities are located in Bankya, a small spa town just 3 kilometers from Sofia. This is also where our sales department (local and international), administration and management are located. We produce leading brands such as Step, Frutti and Picantina here. Our factory fully complies with the requirements of the European Union.

Commerce

Picantina and Step are well-known brands on the Eastern European market. In Bulgaria, our products are available in about 80% of stores. With our own distribution network, logistics facilities and Ex-from sales, we can reach any point of sale within 2-3 days, which is crucial when introducing new products.

Export

Kendy Pharma exports to more than 40 countries on five continents. We are a reliable partner for large retail chains both in Bulgaria and abroad. In addition, we develop products that fully meet the specific requirements of our customers and markets. Thanks to our flexibility, we also produce many private label products. Our experienced export team has extensive knowledge of markets worldwide.

Distribution

Since 2006, Kendy Ltd has been the exclusive representative for Bulgaria of HUMANA GmbH, the world leader in baby food. Our long-term cooperation is characterized by annual growth in sales and excellent professional communication.
