Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sector, approached Highcare Cleanrooms for the realization of a high-quality cleanroom. The room had to meet the most stringent international standards, be suitable for innovative product development and also be able to be delivered operational quickly.

The challenge

Thermo Fisher’s production environment places exceptionally high demands on hygiene, safety and air quality. In addition, the clean room had to remain flexible for future expansion and the construction should not require any major modifications to the existing building.

Our solution

Highcare realized a modular box-in-box cleanroom, fully prefabricated and plug-and-play installed.

  • Construction time: ready to use within 3 months

  • Certification: ISO, GMP-EMA and FSSC 22000

  • Engineering: metal walls and ceilings with flush design for optimal air flow

  • Flexibility: demountable and movable modules, easy to expand

This design allowed the clean room to be built without major renovations to Thermo Fisher’s existing building.

The result

The new cleanroom meets the highest international quality standards and supports Thermo Fisher Scientific in its mission to advance science and develop new pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications. In addition, the space is future-proof: easily adaptable to new processes and changing needs.
